Description

The room has a beautiful view of Napoleon’s nose and lots of greenery, from your window you will see lots of birds and squirrels. There is a built in wardrobe/cupboard with lots of space and two outlets including usb.
In the apartment you will have your own personal fridge. There is a new washing machine and tumble dryer and a shared freezer and the living room has a smart TV with Netflix. I also have a little robot hoover to help with cleaning!
The apartment has parking space at the front of the building and a lockable bike shed. There are beautiful communal gardens with seating areas and a balcony which is lovely to sit and have breakfast on and admire the view over the city plus super handy to dry clothes on.
The apartment has been fitted with a brand new heating system (with an instant hot water system) and new radiators so the outgoings for heating bills are very low.

The apartment is situated in the ‘village style’ area so it is surrounded by bakeries, cafes, artisan coffee shops, an ice cream parlour, mini grocery store and post office.
It is a five minute walk to be in the forest and the trail leads on to Belfast Castle and Cavehill Country Park so I think someone who likes being out in nature will love it here.
In a fifteen minute walk you reach the Waterworks gardens with a duck pond and mini lake. This park hosts park runs each week and is perfect for walking, running or cycling around. You also reach the larger grocery stores on the Antrim Road.
For transport links you are right between the Antrim Road bus service and the Cavehill bus service. The Antrim Road service runs every 10 minutes until 11pm on a direct line to the city centre (It takes about ten to fifteen minutes on the bus to reach Ulster University York Street and it’s final stop is city hall). The Cavehill service runs every thirty minutes.
In the local area you can find two leisure centres, one with a swimming pool and the local library is just a ten minute walk, there is also a tennis court. There are also a number of community venues like the Duncairn Arts centre which hold live music and arts events.

A little about me;
I really value cosiness, a sense of Hygge so that home is a little sanctuary to retreat to. It is important to me to have a clean, tidy, quiet and peaceful home and I would love to live with someone who values their own space but also likes to occasionally enjoy a hot chocolate and chat together over a board game or puzzle :)
