Good-sized, single room to let in my quiet, clean and comfortable, no-smoking, no-pets home, with broadband access, in Bearpark, about ten minutes west of Durham city centre, by one bus (48), on the student-concession bus-route.
The room is on the first floor, has a single bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers, clothes-hanging space and book shelves. Next to the bedroom, there is a shared bathroom, with an over-bath shower. Downstairs, there is a shared sitting-room, garden, a large kitchen-diner with food storage, fridge, cooking facilities and washing machine. Quiet hours 10 pm - 8 am.
I am a retired, female, languages teacher and NHS administrator. I enjoy travel, both at home and abroad, family and friends, and meeting new people. I have successfully hosted Durham university students and professionals for many years, enjoy their company and respect their privacy.
I am looking for a clean, tidy, respectful and communicative person to share my home with.
I charge £450 per calendar month, for three months plus stay.
A refundable deposit of £450 is payable with the first month's rent. Share of Band A council tax, if you are eligible, ie professional, is extra to the rent.
All stays include utility bills and WiFi. All bills payable in advance.
