The double bedroom has a super comfortable iGel mattress, the room benefits from thermal black out curtains and blinds, and has air conditioning. Directly adjacent to the double bedroom is a private bathroom with rain shower, bath, WC and sink basin for your exclusive use.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, oven and hob, and dishwasher for your convenience.
Additionally, there is a walk in wardrobe and place to store cases and any belongings.
We have high speed fibre internet with Wi-Fi throughout offering 250mbps connectivity. In the room there is Sky, Netflix, and large internet connected smart TV.
Downstairs we offer a desk and chair in our study where you can read, use a laptop, or set up your PC.
We have a cleaner that professionally cleans the entire home including bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas including the kitchen once per fortnight. This is included in the bills.
Durham Cathedral & Durham University are a short bus ride or car journey, and Beamish, Kynren, Binchester Roman Fort, & Locomotion museums are nearby.
The nearest train station is Durham, 10 minutes by car. This connects you with national rail services to London, York, Manchester, Newcastle, Darlington, Edinburgh and Glasgow directly. Otherwise the X12 bus runs from the estate and takes you to Durham and Gateshead / Newcastle directly.
In Coxhoe we have a Co-Op supermarket, a small selection of eateries, and a pub. There’s also an abundance of walks and cycling trails from our front door into the fields and woodland nearby.
We have EV charging available if required but this is not included in the bills and would be charged based on consumption.
We are looking for either short term or long term lodgers, from 19th May 2025 onwards.
