1st floor double bedroom with wardrobe, desk, bedside drawers, drawers and a private en-suite toilet and sink. Sharing the main bathroom with one other female.

Looking for a young female professional to take a room in my home from August 2026 - ideally longer term. Someone who's respectful, easy going, tidy and friendly who'll enjoy the space as much as we all do.

You'll be sharing mainly with two brilliant, late twenties, female medical professionals who both work at North Tees (both great cooks, bakers, makers, and super friendly and welcoming), and myself when I'm home, (a creative in marketing/advertising).

The house has been fully renovated with new plumbing, electric, insulation, decoration, bathroom, open plan kitchen - the whole works. The communal space is large, with the kitchen opening up onto the spacious living/dining room. There is a spare single room/study so space for guests on occasion. Two recently fitted bathrooms - main bathroom is upstairs with shower/bath and there's also shower room/utility room on the ground floor.

There's a sunny, private outside area in the form of a yard (lots of plants and a fire pit) which both the kitchen and living room open out onto. Free parking is available on the street outside and we're lucky to have a lot of great neighbours who look out for us.

The busier end of the High Street (Tesco, Lidl, Boots, bars, pubs restaurants etc) is under a minute's walk away from the front door. So you'd be super close to the buzz of the village as well as a few minutes from the main bus stops and major roads.

Council Tax Band A but all bills are included in the monthly rent anyway. WiFi great and happy for people to work from home on occasion.

I live at the property but often am away for work so I'm looking for someone I can trust to respect and take care of the place when I'm not in town as the other lodgers do.

You'll be expected to chip in with the basics, e. g. doing your fair share of dishwasher emptying etc, and cleaning up after yourself and keeping the common spaces tidy and clean. There is a cleaner who comes to do a general clean when available.

LGBTQ friendly. Multi cultural.

We have dogs visit on occasion (rarely - just popping in) so ideally you'll be ok with this but that's not a deal breaker if you're the right fit.
