Spacious room in a traditional family house with double bed. Comes furnished with new mattress, pine bedframe, large wardrobe with drawers, 2 x bedside units, chest of drawers so plenty of storage. Facilities in room are iron & ironing board, 32” iinternet TV, clothes hangers, fridge, breville 1-cup quick boil, complimentary tea/ coffee / biscuits on arrival, WiFi access., bedside lamp, window blind & curtains. Bed linen & towels changed weekly and room / bathroom cleaned. Own separate bathroom with large corner bath & walk in shower with toilet/ sink. Shower gel/ shampoo / toilet tissue provided.
Free parking at front of property.
Allocated use of large kitchen with range cooker, air fryer, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, dishwasher & cutlery / plates etc plus a dining room. Private garden with patio area.
We are a very welcoming family with a miniature Dachshund called Reggie. We are looking for someone who is easy to get along with and who will respect our home and private space. Ideally Mon- Fri occupancy but will not sub let at the weekends so you can leave clothing etc in the accommodation at your convenience. All bills / council tax, WiFi access included in the rate. Use of washing machine / dryer is by separate negotiation at additional cost due to operating expenses. £250 security deposit, refunded at end of tenancy subject to no damage. Key will be provided so access to your accommodation is 24/7.
Location is 5 min from the train station which has direct line to Carlisle and Workington / Whitehaven.
Cockermouth can be reached in 10 mins & Keswick is 30 mins. The main Carlisle road runs through the village with Carlisle a 30 min drive away. There is a Co- Op, Spar, Fish & Chips, Pizza/ Kebab takeaway along with a petrol station and several pubs & cafes. The main supermarkets, Sainsbury’s, Lidl & Aldi are located in Cockermouth and a Tesco/ Morrisons superstore in Workington along with a large retail park. The village is very quiet with lovely surroundings and the coastal villages of Allonby & Silloth a 15 minute drive away. Lovely views of the Solway / Scotland can be had while strolling the promenade with ice cream / pubs in both places.
