Small Double Room with Own Bathroom & Own Floor

Please note: I'm currently advertising the room to gauge interest and get a feel for potential tenants. I don't yet have a confirmed move-in date, as I'm waiting for my current tenant to move out. However, I'm happy to chat with anyone interested and provide updates as soon as I have a clearer idea of timings.

I have a small double room available in my home at Sowerby Lodge, complete with your own private bathroom and pretty much an entire floor to yourself.

If you're looking for somewhere a little different from the usual town-based house share, Sowerby Lodge is set in the beautiful Upper Eden Valley, between Kendal (27 miles) and Penrith (23 miles). The house offers a peaceful home environment, plenty of space and the countryside right on your doorstep.

A bit about the house...
The house is spread over three floors, so there's plenty of space and a lovely balance of having your own space while still sharing a home.
The available double bedroom is on the ground floor, with your own private bathroom right next door, meaning you essentially have the whole bottom floor to yourself.
The middle floor is a large shared kitchen and living space, with access out to the garden – perfect for cooking, relaxing or having friends over. I have the top floor to myself, including my own bedroom, bathroom and home office.
There is also the option of occupying a second room on the ground floor if you'd like a bit more space. This could be ideal for anyone working from home who would like a separate office, or simply wants an extra room. Happy to chat about this separately!

A little about me...
I'm 25 and work from home as a project manager, so I'm around quite a bit during the week. I also have a little miniature dachshund who's very much part of the household!
Outside of work, I enjoy a good balance of my own space and being sociable. I love getting outdoors for walks, relaxing at the weekends and getting stuck into a good book.
I'm pretty relaxed and easy-going, and would love to find someone similar who's friendly and considerate, and enjoys a good balance of having their own space and sharing a home.

Location wise
We're in a lovely rural spot in the Upper Eden Valley, with plenty of beautiful countryside on the doorstep. Having a car and being able to drive is essential, as public transport links are very limited, but there is parking available at the house.
Would suit a young professional looking for a comfortable, spacious home with a bit more privacy than your typical house share. Looking forward to hearing from you!
