The elegant Victorian property is situated within a few minutes walking distance of Corkickle train station, in a conservation area close to bus stops and approximately 8 minutes walk to shops, town and harbour. Located on the south side of the town, away from the town centre, it is ideal for commute to the hospital, West Lakes and Sellafield. Off street parking is available.

The bedroom and en-suite bathroom have been refurbished to a high standard, Bedroom has smart tv, clothes storage facilities, tea and coffee making equipment.. The en-suite consists of shower, loo and sink with touch-screen mirror.

The house has good hi-speed broadband connection. Hot water is available 24/7.

The property is fitted with industry-standard fire alarm system with smoke and heat detectors in every room. Smoking is strictly prohibited although this is allowed in the garden.

One other lodger currently shares use of kitchen, dining room/lounge and cosy lounge with log burner. Kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, double oven, dishwasher and microwave with use of crockery, cutlery etc..
Laundry room equipped with washing machine & dryer.

All bills included, with exception of shared council tax where relevant (approx £12 per calendar month) and bed linen provided monthly.

Respectful, clean and tidy, single, working professional people are requested. No couples sharing room. No students.

Require lodger to be in full-time employment working normal hours and not students, home-workers or shift workers due to disruption to others in the house..

Additionally regret that due to several exterior steps and high staircase, the property is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Landlord lives in, on separate floor in on-site apartment, and owns three very friendly small/medium size dogs so it is essential that potential lodgers are animal/dog lovers and comfortable with dogs, although generally the dogs live on the top floor with owner.

Deposit and references required. Rental paid monthly/4 weekly in advance. Viewings essential, to be arranged with landlord. No remote reservations accepted.

Rental available 7 days a week although preference will be given to those requiring Sun/ Mon -Thurs/Friday accommodation.
