The room is furnished to an extremely high standard with en-suite bathroom, consisting of corner shower, loo and wash-basin. The room has a king-size bed, clothes storage facilities, tea and coffee making equipment, tv and good broadband connection.
Hot water is available 24/7.
The property is fitted with industry-standard fire alarm system with smoke and heat detectors in every room. Smoking is strictly prohibited although this is allowed in the garden.
Two other lodgers currently share use of kitchen, dining room and cosy lounge with log burner. Kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, double oven, dishwasher and microwave with use of crockery, cutlery etc..
All bills included, with exception of shared council tax where relevant (approx £25 per calendar month) and rooms cleaned and beds changed monthly. All bed linen is included. Additional off-site laundry service can be provided on request for small additional charge.
The elegant Victorian property is situated within a few minutes walking distance of Corkickle train station, in conservation area close to bus stops and approximately 8 minutes walk to shops, town and harbour. Being on the south side of the town, away from the town centre, it is ideal for commute to the hospital, West Lakes and Sellafield. Off street parking is available.
Respectful, clean and tidy, single, working professional people are requested. No couples. Require lodger to be in full-time employment working normal hours and not students, home-workers or shift workers due to disruption to any others in the house.. Preference given to renters looking for Monday-Friday only let.
Additionally regret that due to several exterior steps and high staircase, the property is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
Landlord lives in, on separate floor in on-site apartment, and owns two friendly small/medium size dogs so potential lodgers must be animal lovers and be comfortable with dogs.
