The Canal and River are also not far away down the Hill and across the A6 as are Cromford Mills and there are also walks through the woods (Slinter Woods) nearby. Several walking books are provided in the property covering the local area which has some great villages, local attractions, walks and landscapes. You can also research walks via various apps (AllTrails, Komoot, MapMyWalk etc) lots of which are free.
