I’m looking for a clean, tidy and considerate professional who works full-time (not working from home). Someone who will be respectful towards myself, my house and the house rules, keeping noise levels to a minimum especially during quiet hours. Please note this is not a party house and I am looking for someone who will treat the house as their own home, keeping things clean and tidy.
I am a clean quiet and tidy professional who works full-time within the healthcare sector. I’m into healthy living, meditation, hiking, travelling, yoga, reading, swimming and movie nights in. I am social-able but also value my own space, I also respect other people's need for space too.
The property is ideally located in a peaceful spot in Barnstaple, just a 10 minute walk to Barnstaple town centre and a short 20 minute walk to the hospital. The location is excellent for those working in or close to Barnstaple and ideal for those working at the hospital. The local convenience store is on your doorstep, and the Wye Valley Woods is a stone throw away, ideal for local walks. It’s a lovely neighbourhood to live in with friendly neighbours.
The house has recently been newly renovated kitchen, and all rooms decorated from floor to ceiling, this includes the available single bedroom. As you enter the property, you are greeted by an entrance hall leading to the spacious comfy lounge. Please note lounge is only available to lodgers for eating meals whilst sat on the four seater dining table and chairs.
Stepping outside from the patio doors is a patio area where you could sit and relax on the garden table and chairs.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, toaster gas hob cooker, a large American size fridge/freezer and microwave. The garage houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
The shared bathrooms has a WC, sink and large sized bath with an electric over-head shower, fan and a stand alone cabinet/drawers.
Some of the main house rules: Strictly no smoking, no vaping and no drugs allowed inside the property/premises. No pets allowed. No outdoor shoes to be worn inside the house, especially on the carpeted stairs and in the bedrooms. Quiet hours are between 23.00 hours until 08.00 am during weekdays, and 23.00 hours until 10 am during weekends. Strictly no drying of wet clothes inside property (washing line and tumble dryer available). No hot food, smelly food, main meals, or red wine to be consumed in bedrooms. Please clean after yourself when using communal areas, for example wipe kitchen surfaces, remove hair from bath tub, etc.
No overnight stays of family/friends.
I have been letting rooms for over 2 years and have excellent 5 star reviews from hospital staff, doctors, nurses, teachers and other professionals.
