Description

Contemporary, comfortable, light, bright accommodation for a single person looking for a place to stay, short term (up to 6months), an interium period, mon to fri or flexibilty.
It consists of, a large, loft bed/sitting room, with a king size bed, small double sofa bed, desk/dressing table, plenty of storage and ensuite bathroom, with a large walk in water fall shower, basin with vanity unit and toilet. Downstairs In the hall there is a small dining table and chairs and further toilet. The Kitchenette/utility is equipped with a Kettle and Toaster, Microwave with oven and grill, an electric hotplate, fridge, pots/ pans, crockery, utensils and shared washing machine.
There are views, over the garden of fantastic sunsets and upstairs, looks over the Torridge River to Bideford, as in the pictures. There is outside space to enjoy and it has its own entrance, approached over a decked balcony.
This annexed space is attached to the main bungalow where I live. It is in a seclude spot, East the water, set in large, slightly wild gardens. There is parking available on the private drive way.
It is 10 min walk to the centre of Bideford, a supermarket and less than 5 to the Tarka trail and bus stop. Instow, Westward Ho, Appledore, Northam Burrows and the beaches are 3 miles away, Barnstaple centre/ rail station a 20 min drive or 30 min by bus.
I am not looking for a long-term lodger. I am open to, shorter term, (1 to 6 months), interim, mon to friday or flexible stays. The rent advertised is the minimum based on a single person, for 3/4 months. A deposit and terms will need to be negotiated and confirmed before moving in and will be dependent on individual needs, supply of bedding/towels, TV, cleaning, work from home etc. All utility, broadband and council tax bills are included.
I am open minded, friendly and approachable and believe in respecting individual’s spaces, I ask the same in return. It is important to me that whoever stays here is, very clean and tidy, willing to recycle their waste, not smoke inside and be aware of noise levels and nature.
