Room by the Sea

We are looking for a lodger for our spare room (previously used to host international students). The room is currently furnished with a double bunk bed, day bed and 2 wardrobes but can be adjusted to suit needs. The room is in a maisonette right in the middle of Budleigh High Street and therefore very conveniently located for the beach, shops and buses. There is on-street parking available outside the property 5.30pm-9.30am but also a large free car park a few minutes away and closer smaller car parks which a residents permit can be purchased for. You will have communal use of the living room , dining room, kitchen and roof terrace and a bathroom next to your bedroom for your sole use. A weekly cleaner will be organised for the communal spaces and bathrooms. Currently in the house there is me - Charlie, my 8yr old son Albie, 2 tortoises - Kevin and Luigi and a lovely cat that we often look after. I work part time during the week days and most evenings we will be relaxing at home, down the beach, or out and about. We have no preference if you prefer your own space or to socialise. We love a movie or games night. Albie is with his dad every Tuesday night and every other weekend. Often we will go away at the weekend in our van or to visit friends. Currently looking for someone to stay 3 months to 1 year but quite flexible -possibly longer - would just appreciate a months notice from either party.
