My lodger of one year is moving out in August and described the living situation as ‘ideal’ but is relocating to Cardiff. Previous to her, my lodger of three years moved out in July 2024 as she had finished her PhD and was moving back to Turkey. She loved living here and was very sad to leave. I am now looking for a professional or PhD student to live with me.
I am a 36-year-old college teacher and live-in landlord. I have three cats and I love gardening and nature and appreciate living in a relaxed, quiet house.
All bills are included in the price. I do not allow guests and the letting is for sole use of the ensuite bedroom and shared use of the kitchen/diner only. The other rooms are not shared. There is a shed for bikes/some storage. The rental includes use of the fridge, washing machine, and wi-fi.
The notice period is 30 days. A contract will be provided and references will be required.
