There is one other working professional living separately on the ground floor, with their own kitchen and bathroom.

I’m the homeowner but spend the vast majority of my time living and working abroad. I retain a separate bedroom on the first floor and occasionally return to stay, typically for no more than a night at a time.

You’ll therefore generally have the upstairs living accommodation to yourself, offering a great degree of privacy and independence.
