Lovely dbles in Stoke Hill near uni

We have two lovely, doubles on the ground and second floors of our well looked after house in Stoke Hill, which is very convenient for the University.

The first room in the attic is a spectacular and spacious room with an en suite and view of the surrounding hills. It is available for single occupancy at a charge of £720, with double occupancy for couples at £750 per calendar month including bills. It is available from 22 July 2026..

This room has a double bed, desk, chest of drawers, lamp and wardrobe. The ensuite has a toilet, basin and shower.

The second room is on the ground floor of the house. It has a small double bed so it suitable only for single occupancy. It also has a desk and an enormous wardrobe covering one whole wall with hanging space, chest of drawers and loads of storage. It costs £570 per month including bills, and will be available from 12 July 2026. There is a cloakroom with toilet and basin next door which is therefore very convenient.

The area is very quiet and friendly - a mixture of families, retired people and renters.

The house has a spacious open-plan sitting room and kitchen area, complete with a TV, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The kitchen was recently refurbished.

The present tenants are all easy-going professionals and postgraduate students who keep the place very clean and tidy.

There is a family bathroom with shower, bath and toilet as well as the cloakroom with basin and toilet on the ground floor.

There is free on street parking and a nice garden with sitting area, washing line and barbecue for al fresco dining. Stoke Hill is a quiet residential area, just 20 mins walk to the University (Streatham campus) and the city centre. A big Morrisons is only 5 minutes' walk away. A gardener maintains the garden (included in the rent).

The rent includes Council Tax, water, gas, electricity, wireless broadband.

The room is suitable for professionals or mature students. You must be tidy and non-smoking. A deposit of one month's rent and previous rental and employment references are required. The deposit will be placed in the Deposit Protection Service - one of the government approved schemes.

We (the landlords) are members of the National Residential Landlords Association, so you can be sure that we will act in a professional and responsive manner.
