A lovely furnished double room available in our 3-bedroom home with shared living spaces and a garden overlooking Occombe Woods.

The house includes:

- 2 bathrooms (you’ll mainly have use of the shared one next to your room)

- Lounge, dining area, kitchen, and sunny garden room

- Private garden with woodland views and easy access to local walks through the woods and to Cockington Country Park (45–60 mins) and Preston Beach (30 mins)

The room:
Furnished with a double bed, mattress, bedside table, drawers, and mirror (if needed). It has a large south-facing window, so it’s bright and airy throughout the day.

Parking:
No private driveway, but ample free street parking directly outside the house.

Location:
Quiet and well-connected

5–10 mins drive to Paignton, Torquay, and Torbay Hospital

10–15 mins to Totnes and Newton Abbot

5–10 mins to the beach (great for sea swimming, paddle boarding, and occasional surfing!)

About us:
We’re a friendly couple (25 & 27), both working in the public sector. Jamie works shifts, and I work 9-5 Tuesday to Friday, and also teach yoga locally. We love fitness, the outdoors, camping, and sea swimming.

We moved in earlier this year, and while the house still has a few decorating projects on the go, it’s homely and comfortable.

We also have a 6-month-old puppy, so you’d need to be dog-friendly!
