Description

I’m looking for someone mature, fun and trustworthy to share this two bedroom ground floor flat in an old listed building in the City centre some 200 yards from the sea front. No central heating only oil filled electric heaters, open plan kitchen/diner, shared shower room, utility room with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, and access to rear courtyard,

I travel extensively so you will often have the sole run of the flat. My bedroom is also my office. My secretary and my assistants come in a few times a month to open the mail and deal with things that need sorting out when I’m away.

You will have the large double bedroom with loads of storage space and a cast iron double bed.

Rent £560pcm, most bills included, except for TV Licence (I don’t watch TV) and electricity to top up online when I’m away (smart pay-as-you-go electric meter).

Zone H Resident on street Parking permit can be applied for £45pa.

I won’t take a deposit, but I would prefer you to have a British homeowner guarantor who is willing to undertake a credit and reference check.

Please note that I just had a non conclusive experience with a lad in his late 20s and had to serve him a notice to quit.

He is a charming person, but I just can't trust him to live in my flat on his own whilst I'm away without endangering the lives of the other occupants of the building. He managed to set the fire alarm of the whole building off at 2am in the morning, and keeps burning my pots and pans because he walks away from the kitchen whilst cooking. He even managed to ruin my rice cooker because he forgets to turn it off. He forgets to close the fridge door and to lock the back door at night. He can't be bothered to separate and rinse the recycling because "he hasn't got the time". These are only a few issues amongst many more.

I'm looking for a reliable flatmate who can take responsibility of this old building converted into 4 flats when I am away. And so far, the only positive experiences have been with females over 40.

But if you think you can raise to the challenge, you are most welcome to contact me.
In such case, could you let me have as much details about yourself as possible, such as: Your age? What you do for a living? If you are a student, what year and subject, where? Do you have children? What ages? Would they come and stay with you? Why do you have to move? Would you be able to provide contact details from previous landlords?

In the meantime, if you have any questions do not hesitate to message me.

Cheers
Laetitia
