Ground Floor Double Room in quiet neighbourhood

Hello there
We are Gary and Fiona. Since our children grew up and moved on, we have space in our lovely home to offer someone, who would like to be quite self-contained 'underneath' and at the back of the house.

The room is approx 4 x 3m with doors opening onto the garden. There is a shower room on the same floor, which would be for your use in the main. Although the room has furniture in place, we can be flexible and move some or all out into our garage if you would like to bring some of your own.

The room can be accessed via a back lane or through the house.

Kitchen arrangements:
There is a kitchenette area with basic cooking facilities including combi oven, hob, toaster and kettle, washing machine and fridge in the utility space between the bedroom and the shower room. Shared sink and microwave, freezer space upstairs a floor in main kitchen area.

The house is in a quiet residential street in East Teignmouth with parking on the roadside around. It is a 7 min walk to the train station with a regular service to Plymouth and Exeter, a 10 min walk into the town centre and beach and a bus stop nearby.


We are a quiet, peaceful and friendly couple. We generally keep early to bed, early to rise hours.

We would welcome a quiet, considerate and self-contained person, for a short or longer term, who would fit in well with us and our friendly cat.
