This would suit a professional or mature student who works or studies mainly outside the home during weekdays and wants a comfortable, independent base.

The house

* 5 mins to shops/buses, 20 mins walk to the beach
* Kitchen access for everyday cooking
* Shared bathroom (full shower + spa bath)
* Friendly, lived-in home — I’m an academic/artist, with a natural flow of visitors. Happy to chat or share the occasional meal, but everyone largely does their own thing

Garden

* Peaceful walled garden with a pond and running water

Rooms

* £650 pcm — larger double
High ceilings, period fireplace, more spacious, king bed + storage
* £600 pcm — double
Slightly smaller, separate landing next to bathroom, king bed + storage

(One sit–stand desk available if useful.)

About the setup
I work from home, so it suits someone who’s out during standard weekday hours.

You’ll need to be comfortable around a friendly spaniel and an independent cat.

Practicalities

* Single occupancy only (no couples/pets)
* Min 1 month (flexible longer stays)
* Deposit ~£400 depending on arrangement
