Short-term room rentals in Dumfries

Rooms (mostly ensuite double) available short term (min 4 nights) in a choice of well-maintained, peaceful clean and comfortable shared houses for professionals in/around Dumfries centre. Rent includes housebills (inc wifi) and is from £160 ro £250 for a week (see below)

Large shared kitchens (uncrowded) and big sitting room/s.
Ensuites have shower, basin and toilet. Most houses have private car parks. Double glazed windows and central heating and there are TV aerial points in the bedrooms.
24 hour emergency callout service.
Weekly cleaner of communal areas.

They are suitable for single people or couples/twins (small surcharge for two people).
Rent varies according to length of stay (less per night for stays of 2 weeks plus)
There would be an opportunity to extend the stay in some of the rooms if required (to a lower monthly rate than this rate per night if it's for more than 1 month).

The washing machines and dryers are included in the rent in most houses. In the 2 larger houses, they are coin-operated at £3/£4 to wash a large load and 50p/£1 to dry - big commercial machines - large loads.

The tenants are mainly professionals and up to 2 mature students per house (no students in some houses). Suitable for professional or sensible student who would like to study in peace.

Not suitable for parties as everyone is in employment. Visit by a peaceful friend for an evening would be fine.

Pets would be considered in some of the houses. Others are pet-free.

Non-smoking or strictly outside only.
References and deposit required. We like to make a short phone call to current landlord/employer etc and to see some form of ID.
