Short-term room rentals in/from July /Aug2023

Rooms available short term (min 2 nights) in a choice of well-maintained, clean and comfortable shared houses in Dumfries (mainly in/around the centre of town., one house on the east side of Dumfries). Rent includes council tax, electricity, gas central heating and reliable fast wifi. 24 hour emergency management service. Windows are double glazed and there is are TV aerial points in the bedroom.

Most rooms have ensuite facilities or, if not, wash hand basins.

They are suitable for single people or couples/twins (small surcharge for two people)

There would be an opportunity to extend the stay in some of the rooms if required.

The washing machines and dryers are included in the rent in most houses. In one, they are big coin-operated machines (£4 to wash a large load, 50p to dry).

The tenants are mainly professionals and up to 2 sensible students per house (no students in some houses). .Suitable for professional or sensible student who would like to study in peace.

Not suitable for parties as everyone is in employment. Visit by a peaceful friend for an evening would be fine. One house has a games room in a separate building to have fun while others are not disturbed. There is a pool table, table football, air hockey and dart board, also some gym equipment and a secure store shed for bicycles etc. Most houses have private parking and gardens.
