I work normal office hours as a Civil Engineering Technician, based from home and going out. I spend half my time with GF and will probably be away half the time.
I am planning a construction project intended to start in spring 2026. Seeking lodger/s until then with the possibility of extension depending on where things are at.

Council Tax band C, included in cost. Eligible students will receive an appropriate CT discount. I'd like to live with people that are both relaxed and professional regardless of what they do with their day.
Pets considered. A nice but somewhat lovingly insane springer spaniel spends a lot of time here. Smoking is okay in the garden but not the house.
I will request a holding deposit worth one week's rent from any successful candidate, which will be taken off the first month's rent which will be paid on the move in date.
I will use Safe Deposits Scotland for the deposit, and draft a standard lodger agreement contract for acceptance.
