Description
***MON-FRI, or full-time for a defined period***
I am a Christian and retired nurse., and now work ad hoc as a photographer..
I have a double room, with en-suite, available to rent on a temporary basis, on the top floor of my house in Kingswood.
The room is quite big, and so you would be quite self-contained.
There is a large walk-in dressing room and space for suitcases. A double bed, with drawer space below, a desk and bookcase, and a dressing table with large mirror (out of view in the photos). It probably needs an additional chest of drawers, or a comfy chair, which I will provide. The room is warm, but cools down when windows are opened during the night (in the summer). It has plenty of space to spread out and add your own things.
I occupy a study, bathroom and bedroom on the middle floor, which means we both have our own space.
Downstairs there is a kitchen with all amenities, including a large pantry with additional cupboard space
I am ideally looking for a visiting academic, medical/healthcare professional working locums, business person working in the area for a period of time, or indeed someone who is looking for a Monday-Friday let (occasional weekends considered).. Hull university is about a 15 minute drive away, and the hospital around a 20minute drive. No students please.
There is an available parking space, and the bus stop into Hull is only a 2 minute walk away. The bus to Beverley departs from the retail park (about a 5-10 minute walk). I don’t have any pets at the moment.
The house is situated almost next door to a lovely park, and the Kingswood shopping centre (with supermarket, cinema, and leisure centre) is a short walk away through the park. Despite this, it is quite a quiet area.
The room is available for a single person only, and I am quite open to people of any age.
All I ask is that you be respectful of the space, *which is also my home*, and enjoy the place for as long as you are here.
The room will be available once the current lodger leaves (around February 17th) but can be viewed from 20th January. Happy to negotiate rent for a Mon-Fri stay, or for odd nights.
Please tell me a bit about yourself. Applicants with a photo only please.. *Single people* *No partners or children* *References required*
Thanks for reading. I look forward to hearing from you.
