About the flat:
I have one room available in my lovingly renovated big bright Georgian flat in Brunswick town Hove.
The flat is spacious, the main living area is open plan and has two large floor to ceiling windows which let in all of the morning light. It has a small balcony from which the sea can be seen. The walls are bare stripped plaster and the floors are timber, giving the place a very chic casual homely feel.
Your room is down a small hallway at the rear of the flat making it very private. It gets lots of afternoon light through it's south facing windows as well as the glass door which leads out onto the fire escape which could be used as your own private small terrace. All of the furniture including the mattress is less than five years old. There is a divan base for storage, a small desk and a cast iron radiator.
The kitchen has been renovated sustainably and to a high standard of design, it is constructed from recycled and reclaimed timber, marble and steel. The appliances are still fairly new, there is a separate laundry/ utility cupboard and plenty of food storage.
The bathroom is also recently decorated and tiled. It has a bathtub and large rainforest shower head as well as underfloor heating.
The house is one block back from Hove beach front 🏖, and a 15 minute walk from both Brighton city centre and Hove town centre, there’s numerous great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and independent shops within a five minute walk.
Rent includes unlimited fibre broadband 60Mbps, utilities and a formal lodger licence agreement. A street parking permit for zone M can be organised for your car.
I'd really encourage a viewing as the scale of the rooms and amount of natural light are better experienced in person.

I'm 39 and originally from Australia. I am often away travelling for work for weeks or months at a time.
While I am away, you will have the entire flat to yourself (hence the slightly high price for the room), when I'm away, you are welcome to make use of my office nook in the living area.
When I am home, I work full time remotely from home, and for this reason, this rental wouldn't be suitable for someone who also works full time from home.
