I am looking for someone to join me in the apartment I am currently renting.
The apartment is a relatively new apartment in The Market complex on Circus Street. I posted a video tour of the apartment.
Pros of the apartment. It’s very quiet, with no traffic noise and no noise from neighbours. It gets lots of sun even in winter. It’s a 10min walk to the train station, 5min walk to the beach, 1 min walk to the south-bound bus stop or 4min walk to the north-bound bus stop. Morrisons, Aldi and Sainsbury’s are all within a 10min walk. The internet is fast. Appliances are good quality.

Room furnishings:
* Super king mattress and base (medium-soft, 15 months old).
* Desk (optional)
* Monitor (optional)
* Large drawers
* Small wardrobe
Bathroom:
You would have shared use of the main bathroom.
Complex amenities:
* shared lounge (with coffee machine)
* shared working space
* shared gym (surprisingly well-equipped, and often empty)
* bike storage
Bills:
Last month's bills were: electricity (£41), internet (£39), heating (£60) and water (£87). Heating can fluctuate a little, and is ~£0 from about March to October. I'm open to try reduce these. Water doubled from last year, so it's unclear what it will be going forward. Your council tax will depend on your occupation (free if student).
Paperwork:
The landlord requires you to be on the lease. To do so, we fill in a lease update to add you as a tenant. We can do it again when you move out to remove you.
Zones:
The apartment is in Brighton Zone C for permit parking, and in Zone D for tax.
About me and the apartment:
I am a 34 yo male. I've been living in the UK for the last 3 years. I am doing a PhD (last year). Recently, I'm out of the house from 6am-4pm most days of the week. I sometimes work from home. I'm more of a proactive cleaner, and enjoy the zen of a clean space, but I'm not exactly always on top of this. My partner lives overseas currently, but he visits every 3 months or so for 2-3 weeks.
