Stunning big room in a house in the Lanes

We’re looking for someone to fill a glorious, spacious double room in a stunning 4-bed house, right in the heart of the North Lanes, down a quiet side street.

Our current housemate is sadly moving out of Brighton, so Me, Luca and Georgia are looking for a replacement to move in on 5th December.

THE ROOM

A really spacious double on the first floor, with a double bed, desk, chest of drawers and built-in bookshelves. £770pcm

Utility bills average about £65 per person per month
Council tax is about £50 per person per month
Security deposit: £687

THE HOUSE

The open-plan kitchen and living room is gigantic and a great space to hang out. The kitchen is well kitted out, with plenty of worktop and storage space, plus a dishwasher. Even though it’s on the basement level, it gets loads of natural light from the garden, which is a lovely work in progress (herb bed coming soon!).

There’s a WC with a washing machine and dryer on the basement floor, a shower room on the second floor, and a bathroom on the third for anyone after a soak. Plenty of storage in the basement and attic too.

Some of the fixtures are a little dated, but the landlords are slowly updating them and are happy for us to make the space our own. They’re a husband and wife who run an NGO in Nepal: genuinely lovely, respectful and fair.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Someone who’d enjoy making this house a home. We’re easygoing, but respect for communal spaces and each other’s space is a must. Working professionals preferred.
