Short term..sole use of gorgeous ground floor flat

71 days , 2.5 months, of sole occupancy! I am away from 4th january untill 16th March. You will therefore have sole occupancy unless my plans change...most unlikely, this is my winter routine and I've not had to return early yet!

It is available only till 16th/17th March, so please bear that in mind.

If I do have an emergency and have to come home early, your rent will reduce to £600 pro rata & half duel fuel bill.

Couples welcome, the rent for two people pcm is £1200 pcm pro rata.

Take it easy at this unique quiet getaway, gorgeous 6 foot high oak windows in a spacious living room, sumptuous 80% wool carpets to feel warm & soft, my home is shoe free. Shared garden and courtyard surround, with seating areas in both.

10 minutes from Waitrose & Morrisons, the house is on the quiet side of the road , only minutes from the Ashdown Forest, woodland walks and some great pubs. Nearby Tunbridge Wells provides film, theatre and shows and a wide variety of restaurants. Londong is around an hour away.

You will have a small but pretty double room with fabulous 6 foot high listed oak windows.

The living dinning room is spacious: I think roughly 15x 18 feet.

The flat is in an 1899 architect designed stone house. There are 6 flats, and whilst house neighbours keep private, they are friendly. The culture here is quiet, and it is essential that you too want to be, and to be in, a quiet environment.

Surrounding neighbours have always been quiet.

The house is eccentric with, for example, inwards opening windows, so expect some signs of living in an old characterful house, not the controlled environment of a well built modern or standard property. The windows are mainly the original 1899 oak and glass.

One parking space is available.

I would like to meet you, so meeting by end of November is desirable, ealy December essential. There is a key safe for entry.

The flat will be cleaned nicely before you arrive and will need to be cleaned to the same standard when you leave.

Bills:
You will pay for what duel fuel you use. Wifi, & council tax. is included. Water is included unless water use is extreme...Happy to give figures, I am relaxed about water use so I do mean extreme!

As I am away in South Africa with unreliable power, I will leave you emergency numbers with my regular heating engineer, plumbing, home emergency cover etc.
