Each room has access to the fibre WiFi broadband and also there is a Freesat aerial point plus a cat 6 Ethernet point for connection to laptops or smart TVs for faster communication. There is also a 7th toilet on the ground floor.
The shared area includes an open plan kitchen-diner, fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, hob, microwave, 2 fridges and 2 freezers. This opens onto a south-facing courtyard garden with patio table and chairs and space for bicycle storage.
There are two large hot water tanks, each supplying 3 rooms so there is always plenty of hot water. There is insulation in the walls, ceiling and floors both for warmth and soundproofing, making this a lovely home for all the housemates.
The property has been refurbished to a high standard by the “live out” landlords, Steve and Jill. They also manage the property and are available if any unexpected problem should arise.
The rent covers all bills including fast WiFi, council tax, TV licence and utilities.
The house is in Whitley Road, a 10 – 15 minute walk to the town centre and station, 10 minutes to the beach with good bus links to all surrounding areas including Eastbourne General Hospital. There is a corner shop opposite and unlimited parking in the immediate area.
