A large, furnished peaceful super king bedroom with your own private bathroom and lounge area, all with cracking sunset views. You'll also have use of the shared kitchen and garden.

Based in the heart of central Hove, you're just a few steps from Tesco, a minute's stroll to the beach, a quick wander to the shops, a short hop to Hove train station and excellent bus links to all of Brighton & Hove, Shoreham and surrounding areas, with plenty of stumbles to the most lovely and friendliest local pubs.

You'll be sharing with me (Em, 47), my daughter (14), my son (10), and Harry, our very funny loveable lap cat. My children are with me around 50% of the time.

We're a friendly, respectful and easy-going family who enjoy a peaceful home. Although I love heading out for sea swims, open mic nights, country walks and the occasional trip to the pub, home is very much somewhere to relax and unwind.
When I'm not working in a local Montessori school, I run my own natural skincare business, Olive & Joyce, and occasionally work from home.

My children are kind, active and outdoorsy. They love martial arts, Parkruns, sea swimming, long walks, reading, puzzles, board games and films.
We've been lucky enough to have several wonderful long-term lodgers over the years, as well as welcoming English language students from around the world. Many have stayed in touch long after moving on, which I think says a lot about the atmosphere in our home.

We're looking for someone who enjoys a calm, friendly home and is respectful of shared spaces. Whether you're a professional, student, relocating to the area or simply looking for somewhere peaceful by the sea, we'd love to hear from you.
We're always happy for a chat over a cup of tea, but equally respect everyone's privacy and personal space.

A few house notes:
• Couples are welcome for an additional £150 per month to cover increased household bills.
• We're a vegan and vegetarian household, so we're looking for someone who's happy to keep the kitchen meat-free.
• Sorry, we're unable to accommodate additional pets.
• All bills are included, excluding Council Tax (if applicable) and a parking permit.
