Large room available in a lovely, bright 3rd-floor apartment on The Drive, Hove, available from 1 November.

The apartment is ideally located close to Hove Station and the seafront, with plenty of natural light, modern conveniences and a lift.

The Room

The room is actually the lounge, but it is the same size as the bedroom and is a really generous space. It currently has a sofa which converts into a double bed, a table and chairs, and some storage. There is also plenty of room for your own furniture if you have it. The landlady is happy to remove some of the existing furniture if you don't need it.

About Me

You'd be living with me, a relaxed 47-year-old woman. I'm cabin crew, so I'm away working quite a lot, which means you'll often have the flat to yourself.

When I'm home, I enjoy being outdoors, growing plants, painting, gigs, comedy, batch cooking, meditation and generally having a peaceful life. I don't drink, but I'm absolutely fine if you do. This isn't a party flat — I'm looking for someone who enjoys a clean, calm, respectful and considerate home.

I'd ideally prefer someone who works full-time outside the home, as I think it's nice for both people to have some time and space to themselves. When I'm home, I'm often out and about, but I also like to relax and recharge at home before my next duty.

My work can sometimes involve very early starts. I always try to be as quiet and considerate as possible, and our rooms are at opposite ends of the flat, which is great for privacy.

One thing I want to be upfront about: the front door is a fire door and can make a noise even when opened carefully. Most previous flatmates haven't heard me leaving, but if you're a very light sleeper or particularly sensitive to noise, it may not be the right fit.

What I'm Looking For

I'm easy-going, clean and respectful, and I'm looking for someone similar.

I'd like to live with someone who:

- Is clean and tidy, particularly in communal areas
- Respects personal space and boundaries
- Is considerate of noise and each other's routines
- Communicates openly if something needs discussing
- Wants a peaceful and comfortable home rather than a party house

I'm looking for a female tenant who is happy to commit to the new tenancy from 1 November. The landlady will carry out the usual reference checks through OpenRent before the tenancy begins.

Rent & Bills

Rent: £650 per month
Deposit: £650
Water is included in the rent. Other bills vary throughout the year depending on usage and the season, but are approximately £150 per month.

No pets unfortunately.

It's a really comfortable flat in a fantastic Hove location, and I'm hoping to find someone who will enjoy making it their home too.
