Edge of Ashdown Forest

I'm renting a furnished double bedroom in a cottage on the Crowborough Road, Nutley. Three metres and you're on Ashdown Forest. You have use of the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Please note it's not a large cottage, so if you're looking for something palatial it's not for you. Which applies to storage too - while there's a decent amount of cupboard space if you have lots and lots of stuff it will be a squeeze.

The rent is £500/month exclusive of bills: £650 inclusive. That includes one third of the electricity bill + council tax/wifi. £500 deposit and payment of £650 via bank transfer each month. References required

I'm looking for someone who's working and 20-50 ish years old. Your own transport is a necessity. There's a bus service but it's not regular enough to be practical. I'm left of centre and, while I'm not in any way extreme, I am looking for someone open and tolerant too.

Btw, my work is freelance and I'm often away, so you will get plenty of time to yourself.

Re pets: a well behaved small dog will work, a cat is fine
