Spacious Double Rooms – Short-Term Welcome

We have two bright, spacious double rooms available in our home in Buckhurst Hill. They would particularly suit professionals looking for a comfortable base while working in London or the surrounding area, whether for a few weeks, a few months or potentially longer.

We have two different double rooms available:

Room 1 – Quiet garden room
A bright, recently decorated double room at the back of the house, so it’s particularly quiet and overlooks the garden. It has a double bed, bedside cabinet, large wardrobe, plenty of drawer storage and a small desk.

Room 2 – Large double room
A larger double room with a lovely bay window and lots of natural light. It has a double bed, a large wardrobe with plenty of storage, a bedside cabinet and a generous desk area, so there’s plenty of room to settle in rather than feeling as though you’re living out of a suitcase.

Both rooms are fully furnished and ready to move into.

The house

The house itself is spacious and relaxed, with comfortable shared living areas and a large garden that you’re very welcome to use.

Neither room has an en-suite, but there are three bathrooms in the house. The main family bathroom is rarely used by anyone else, so in practice there’s plenty of bathroom space and room for your toiletries and belongings.

If you have a car, there is also space to park on the driveway.

Location

We’re in a really convenient part of Buckhurst Hill, around a 7-minute walk from both Buckhurst Hill and Roding Valley stations, giving easy access to the Central Line and into London.

The local shops, cafés, restaurants and other amenities are all within easy walking distance too.

About us

We’re a friendly professional couple and share the house with our two old dogs, so you’ll need to like dogs and be happy having them around.

We lead fairly busy lives and want whoever stays with us to feel comfortable and at home, with full use of the shared living areas and garden rather than feeling confined to their bedroom.

The rooms would particularly suit someone who goes out to work during the day. Occasional working from home is absolutely fine, but as we also work from home at times, we’re not looking for someone who works from home on a regular or full-time basis.

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who is friendly, respectful and considerate and who would like a comfortable, welcoming place to call home while they’re staying in the area.
