Large House close to the tube

We have a bright, spacious double room available in our home in Buckhurst Hill.

The room is at the back of the house, so it’s nice and quiet and overlooks the garden. It’s recently been decorated and comes furnished with a double bed, bedside cabinet, large wardrobe, plenty of drawer space and a small desk. If you have a car, there’s also space to park on the driveway.

The house itself is roomy, with comfortable shared living areas and a large garden that you’re very welcome to use.

The room doesn’t have an en-suite, but there are three bathrooms in the house. The main family bathroom is rarely used by anyone else, so in practice there’s plenty of space for your toiletries and belongings.

We’re in a really convenient spot between Buckhurst Hill and Roding Valley stations, both around a five-minute walk away, and the local shops, cafés and amenities are all within easy walking distance too.

We’re a warm, friendly professional couple and we share the house with our two old dogs, so it would suit someone who likes animals and is happy having them around.

Our preference is for a mature female housemate, but we’re genuinely open to people of all ages, genders, sexualities, races, religions, languages and backgrounds.

More than anything, we’d just like to find someone who is kind, respectful, friendly and considerate, and who wants somewhere they can feel comfortable and at home rather than simply renting a room.
