Bright, comfortable furnished double room available in a clean, modern two-bedroom flat in Chelmsford (CM2 / Chelmer Village area).

I’m a professional artist and animator, and I am the only other person living in the flat. I’m looking for a clean, respectful and easygoing lodger, or a couple/two people who would like to share the double room. I would especially welcome people interested in art, literature or creative fields, although this is certainly not essential.

The double room is suitable for either one person or two people.

Rent for one person: £650 pcm, including bills
Rent for a couple/two people: £800 pcm, including bills
Deposit: one month’s rent

One of the nicest things about the flat is that you would not be limited to your bedroom. We have a large, bright and sunny shared living room, and because I am the only other person living here, there is plenty of space for everyone. This makes the flat particularly suitable for a couple or two people sharing the double room.

The living room has a TV, Netflix, Xbox and comfortable seating, and you would be welcome to use it as part of your home. We would also share the kitchen and bathroom.

Location: Chelmer Village / CM2 area, with good transport links, nearby shops and amenities, and convenient access to Chelmsford station and city centre.

One small suggestion: on SpareRoom, I’d advertise it as “Double Room for Single or Couple – £650/£800 Bills Included”. That immediately communicates the main advantage and should attract couples as well as individual lodgers.
