1 double room for female lodger

Double room available in our 3-bedroom home.

My 15-year-old daughter and I live here. We’re fairly relaxed and easygoing and the house is generally calm, although like any family home it isn’t silent all the time and we definitely have the occasional mother–daughter bicker! We respect each other’s space and would want someone who enjoys a home that feels comfortable and easy to live in.

I work from home a few days a week, so I’m around some of the time.

We’re looking for a female lodger who is tidy, considerate and easy to live with. Cleanliness and keeping shared spaces reasonably clutter-free is quite important to me, so I’d love someone who naturally likes to keep things clean and put things away rather than leaving mess to build up. Other than that, we’re pretty relaxed and just want someone respectful and considerate.

This isn’t a party house, although occasional visitors are absolutely fine. As my daughter lives here, frequent male overnight visitors wouldn’t be the right fit for our home.

All bills and Wi-Fi are included, and you’re welcome to make full use of the living room, kitchen and bathroom. We want whoever moves in to feel comfortable and at home here.

The room is fairly simple at the moment but has good storage, and I’d be happy for someone to add their own touches to make it feel cosy and make it their own.

Ideally, we’d love someone looking for a peaceful, clean and friendly place to come back to after work or busy days.
