Amazing location for trains, buses, walking to town or seafront, the well designed room is clean and fresh, and has everything needed, desk, shelves, wardrobe and drawers. The flooring is wood laminate, the walls and curtains white. The double glazed window is south facing so catches the sun around mid-day. The window overlooks the garden and trees and planting of the surrounding gardens. We have upgraded the kitchen diner and it is light and sunny, very cheering. We keep forgetting to photograph the rooms as they get filled quickly in this pleasant area.
The patio and garden are great features of the house, for relaxing in the sun on your days off, or the evenings. The street is very quiet as it is a cul de sac, so although the house is very central there is a lot of space and open sky around and you can walk to the seafront and the parks, as well as the town centre in 10-15 minutes. Southend East Station is less than 5 minutes away, as are the bus routes. The local Sainsbury and Tesco are equally close.
The large kitchen diner overlooking the garden has in addition to the usual, a washing machine and dryer , with a washing line for the warmer dryer months. There is a full bathroom, plus a separate shower room with basin and toilet( recently installed), so you can avoid queuing in the morning.
There is access for bikes plus a security bar to lock them to. The property is well cared for by active landlords who are members of SEAL, a local association of Landlords and Agents working to keep high standards of rental property, so the owners are among the best landlords in the town.
