There are 5 bedrooms in all, mine is with an ensuite, 2 bedrooms are being let out.
There is a shared bathroom for lodgers, a separate downstairs toilet, one lounge for lodgers to share and one lounge for myself, a shared dining area, a conservatory / utility area, a large shared kitchen and a large shared garden.
I am looking for clean and tidy housemates, who have a good job* ** and pay their rent on time by standing order, who are happy to get on with others in the house and be involved in occasional social events i. e. barbecues etc.
*Please note if you are Self-Employed I will need to see three years accounts to show that you are financially viable.
**I will carry out a lodger / credit check on all lodgers to make sure they are financially viable before they move in.
Bedroom 1
Recently refurbished upstairs double bedroom with a single bed, desk provided with ample shelving and built in wardrobe space, with bathroom / toilet next door.
£675pm in total (£475 for rent which reviewed each anniversary and £200 for bills which will change as the bills change. There is currently an additional of £33pm on the bills due to the war in Ukraine).
Bedroom 2
Recently refurbished upstairs double bedroom with a single bed, desk provided with ample shelving and built in wardrobe space, with bathroom / toilet across the corridor.
£650pm in total (£450 for rent which reviewed each anniversary and £200 for bills which will change as the bills change. There is currently an additional of £33pm on the bills due to the war in Ukraine).
My bedroom has its own ensuite, so I don't share the main bathroom.
Use of a shared living room, with 42 inch smart TV. I have my own separate lounge which is shared by invitation only.
Unlimited fibre broadband included. All bills paid by second standing order, but within the overall cost of each room.
A shared dining area.
Use of a shared kitchen, with use of an air fryer, the top oven / grill, 5 burner hob, combination microwave, reserved space in cupboards, and plenty of fridge and freezer space to share with the other lodgers (there are now 3 fridges, fridge / freezers in the conservatory utility area). I have my own separate fridge and freezer in the kitchen.
Walking distance (0.8 miles) to SEEVIC college, not far from Masters Performing Art College at Rayleigh Weir.
Masters Performing Art College is 1.6 mile walk, 8 mins by car or the bus is 1 minute away and takes 6 minutes with a 4 minute walk across to the college.
Southend University campus is 35 minutes away by a bus that leaves every 15 minutes from a bus stop a short walk (2mins) from the house.
Benfleet and Rayleigh stations are a few miles away in either direction. Buses run into Southend / Rayleigh / Basildon at the bottom of the road.
There is space on the drive for two cars. One is reserved for myself and the other for lodgers / guests. There is ample parking just up the road.
Looking for people who want to live long term in a beautiful house and enjoy a clean tidy environment with a friendly atmosphere.
