Description
Double Room to Rent in Crossford, Near Dunfermline - £625 Per Calendar Month. Female applicants only.
About you – I’m looking for a single professional non-smoking female lodger who enjoys a peaceful, relaxed environment, with interests and hobbies that reflect a mature, balanced lifestyle – someone who’s more into a peaceful evening or weekend walk, than partying.
You must be in full time employment. I’d prefer someone who works in an office or onsite at work the majority of the time with only infrequent, not regular, working from home. You’re welcome to have friends or family over for a cuppa, or bite to eat, but no overnight guests permitted.
About me – I’m a marketing professional based in Crossford, a quiet commuter village just a mile from Dunfermline. I enjoy walking with my Springer Spaniels and having good conversations with friends when they pop in. I’m self-employed and work from home.
About my home/the room – I’m renting out a double room in my 1930s converted bungalow. The room is in the peaceful northwest corner of the house and comes with use of a large adjacent shared bathroom. You’ll also have access to the shared sunny, south-facing lounge (with Sky TV), a spacious kitchen-family room, and a utility room with a washing machine. The house has a large south-facing sunny back garden with a patio and orchard for you to enjoy.
About Crossford – The village has excellent transport links, with a bus stop 5 minutes away connecting to Glasgow, Stirling, and east cities such as Kirkcaldy and St Andrews. You can also catch a bus or train from Dunfermline to Edinburgh (about 40 minutes by bus or 30 minutes by train). There’s a pharmacy, local stores, and lovely countryside walks nearby.
About my dogs – My well-behaved dogs are restricted to the kitchen-family room, and their utility room space, so there’s no concern about dog hairs or smells in the house. However, you must like dogs and be used to living with dogs.
About the rent – Rent is £625 per calendar month (includes bills) on an initial 1-month probation to make sure we’re both comfortable with each other. If all goes well, and we’re both happy, then I’d be happy to extend. If you're interested or have any questions, please get in touch.
