The property has stunning views of the River Tay, a gorgeous lounge with open fire, large kitchen and good sized garden. There are lots of social/study spaces with a large living room, office and large hall with dining table.

There is plenty of storage for bikes or other sports equipment and ample parking nearby. Ideally located for St Andrews (11 miles), Dundee (3 miles) with regular buses.

Newport on Tay is charming and in a much sought-after location with stunning views of the River Tay and gorgeous sunsets. It is quiet with an award-winning high street including an artisan baker, two small supermarkets, post office, cafes, restaurants, takeaways, hairdressers, yoga studio and art gallery. There is also a nearby friendly boating and tennis club.

I love to cook so the kitchen will be well equipped: dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave and plenty of cookware and utensils. The bathroom has electric shower over the bath.

I am a teacher which means during term time I am out a lot. I love having company but also need quiet times and early nights. I’m looking for a lodger who I get on with well and who is clean and tidy, at least in the shared spaces. We don’t smoke or vape indoors and don't do drugs.

I’m chilled and have lived with a wide variety of people. I like music (playing trad Scottish and going to small gigs), cycling, sailing, walking, reading, DIY, travel, Christianity (though lived with people with most beliefs), international development.

The most important thing for me is finding the right person, and I would prefer someone in their final year of UG or older. Move-in etc is all flexible so get in touch if you feel this is right for you.
