A calm place to call home

We're a friendly, professional family who value a relaxed, considerate atmosphere and respect for one another's privacy. The accommodation has its own entrance and facilities, but is part of our family home, with an internal connecting door to the main house.

It could be a particularly good fit for a postgraduate or PhD student, visiting researcher, academic or working professional looking for a quiet base in St Andrews.

Rent and arrangements

Rent is £980 per calendar month including all bills. This includes electricity, gas, heating, council tax, broadband and normal domestic use of the laundry facilities. No separate routine household bills.

Available from 10 November 2026. The arrangement is open-ended. We'd ideally welcome someone hoping to stay for six months or longer.

Single occupancy only. No smoking indoors, and no pets.
