Lovely double room with en suite in Charlton Kings

Comfortable and spacious downstairs double bedroom, en suite with walk in shower. Sharing open plan well-equipped kitchen/diner and utility room with owner, I am quiet but friendly and looking for someone who will be respectful of my home. Lovely garden, easy on-road parking, wonderful country walks minutes from home, great local shops, cafes, pubs, takeaways. Good bus service, easy cycle ride to town centre (room for one bike in bike shed). If you like gardening there is potential to share a greenhouse and allotment! I'm looking for a lodger who is clean, tidy, considerate, polite and friendly. Vegetarian would be great but not essential, however if you like to cook meat every day that probably wouldn't work!
More about me: I'm a retired landscape architect, interested in nature, sustainable living, environmental issues. I write poetry and am involved in the local writing community. I'm single and as a rule would prefer not to have a lodger's partner staying over (occasional stays by agreement). Please when replying tell me something about yourself! If we are sharing the house I need to know if we will get on. My present lodger has been with me for 2.5 years and I count him as a good friend now.
NB furniture in photos has been changed but still consists of comfortable double bed with underbed drawers, bedside tables, chest of drawers, good sized wardrobe, small chair. Windows are frosted to half height for privacy.
