Newly Decorated Double Room in Stoke Gifford

Hey, I’m Rach. My lovely housemate has bought a place of her own and so I’m looking for a new housemate for my two-bedroom house in Stoke Gifford, near Filton. The room is £750 a month and includes all bills.

The Room/House
The room is newly decorated and comes with a bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and a storage cupboard.
The house has two parking spaces and has a secure garden if you have a bike. It has one shared bathroom upstairs, a downstairs toilet, living room, kitchen-diner (dishwasher, washer/dryer etc), with a nice sized garden.
It’s on a quiet street with a bus stop to the city-centre a minute walk away and Bristol Parkway station a fifteen-minute walk away. Nearby, there are a few retail parks and gyms, with Nuffield Health a short-walk too. If you ever fancy a mid-week drink, there’s a pub within walking distance too!


About me
I’m a live-in landlord but am super chilled and just looking for a likeminded person to share the space.
I’m a Head of Year and secondary school teacher and have a really busy schedule, so I’m firmly in my weekday grandma era 😂

I’d love to live with someone who is clean and social but doesn’t mind a night to themselves. Despite being in grandma mode, I’m always up for a mid-week pub trip and binging a Netflix series. I do like a night out every so often on the weekend, but am always respectful about coming home etc.

I have two house cats, Tom and Jerry, who make up for their lack of brain cells with love and neediness. I don’t expect a housemate to clear up after them. I do like to use half-terms to travel, so if you’re up for looking after them then great, but equally I’m more than happy to use the lovely local cattery - no pressure on that.
