Double room in beautiful Victorian house

I own a very well-presented Victorian mid-terrace house and have a room available Monday-Friday (fewer days for lower rent accepted, along with full-time rent for shorter stays). All bills are included, and bedding can be provided and laundered.

The room has a wooden blind and blackout curtains, and the windows are double glazed to aid a good night’s sleep. The TV comes with Amazon firestick. There are two bathrooms and one shower room in the house, so whilst it doesn’t come with an en suite the traffic to the bathroom next door is very light.

If renting weekdays only, you can leave belongings over the weekend, but they need to be tidied away in storage provided as the room may occasionally be used at the weekend. I should point out that weekday rentals are only available to people who have a home to return to at the weekend and not to people suggesting they can 'go away at the weekends'. Sorry!

The house is occupied by the family, which consists of me (Suzanne), and my 11-year-old son, a very friendly cat and a Yorkshire terrier. A second lodger lives with us part time. It’s a fairly quiet house: we’re all friendly, but we do tend to do our own thing.

I’m looking for one lodger only (no couples or overnight visitors) either part-time and/or or short-term. And whilst the kitchen is well equipped, I’m looking for someone with light cooking requirements.

The house sits between the Gloucester Road North and Southmead Road, so perfect for Airbus, Rolls-Royce, the MOD, Southmead Hospital and UWE Frenchay Campus. Parking is on-street but very easy to come by and bus stops are within two minutes' walk in both directions. There is also a Tesco Express just two minutes' walk away too, which is super handy.
