🏡 Double Room Available in a Friendly, Homely House – Gloucester

We have a double room available in our fully furnished, semi-detached house in Gloucester. The house has a relaxed, homely feel, with plenty of space to enjoy, and we're looking for someone who would feel comfortable living here and fit in well with the current housemates. 😊

🛏️ The Room

The double bedroom is on the first floor, towards the middle of the house, overlooking the rear garden.

The room comes furnished with:

* Double bed
* Chest of drawers
* Clothes rail
* Bedside table

🏠 The House

The house is fully furnished, and all shared areas are available for everyone to use.

* Two bathrooms – one with a bath and the other with a walk-in shower.
* Large, open-plan living and dining room – with plenty of space to relax.
* Fully equipped kitchen – with everything you need, including a dishwasher.
* Separate utility room – with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
* Rear garden – a medium-sized garden to enjoy.
* Street parking available.

The house has plenty of character and is very much a home rather than a show home. It's comfortable, lived-in and somewhere to relax and feel at home.

📍 Location

The house is in a convenient location, with good transport links and plenty of local amenities nearby.

* Bus routes: The house is on a main bus route, with buses to Cheltenham and Gloucester city centre.

* Gloucester Quays: Around a 15-minute walk

* Gloucester city centre and train station: Around a 20-minute walk.

* Canal path: Close by for walks, runs or getting some fresh air.

* Supermarkets: Aldi and Lidl are both within a 10-minute walk, with Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco also nearby.

* Local amenities: There's a post office a few doors down, along with a Co-op and pharmacy.

* Fish and chips: One of Gloucester's best fish and chip shops is just a two-minute walk away!

* Takeaways: Bristol Road is around a five-minute walk, with plenty of options to choose from.

💷 Bills and Extras

The monthly rent includes all utility bills and fibre-optic broadband.

We also have Netflix and Sky TV channels on the large living room TV for everyone to enjoy, whether it's a film night or catching up on your favourite series. 🍿

👋 A Little About Us

The current housemates are two working professionals, aged 29 and 39. We're clean, tidy and respectful, and enjoy keeping fit, chilled nights in with a good film or series, board games and the occasional social drink.

We're a friendly household who enjoy socialising now and again but equally respect each other's personal space and privacy. Everyone is free to do their own thing, and there's no pressure to join in.

We would ideally prefer a female housemate who is friendly, considerate and looking for a comfortable place to call home.

We're also an animal-loving household and open to discussing pets. 🐾 The house is LGBTQ+ friendly too. 🌈
