The room comes with an en-suite walk-in shower and its own cooking facilities. Included with the room is a double bed, a futon sofa, an extendable dining room table and work desk, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and shelving that doubles up as a storage facility for cutlery, plates and dry food. The house also has 200MB fibre optic broadband and the room has additional storage space under the roof.
The cooking facilities include a one-ring hob, a microwave and convection oven and a reasonably sized fridge freezer (to be moved into the room prior to it being rented out). Tenants are free to use the garden and laundry facilities downstairs.
All bills are included in the price.
We have no issues renting to smokers as long as they smoke outside in the front or back garden. Indoor vaping is fine.
References and proof of earnings required. Deposit is one month’s rent in advance.
Our previous lodger who was with us for three and a half years moved out at the end of March 2025 due to accepting a job based out of Edinburgh. So the room is presently not occupied.
