Description
I'm offering a nice-sized room in a lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat opposite Hanworth Park in a historic development. The room comes with a double bed, triple wardrobe and desk but happy to reconfigure as needed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5-hob gas cooker, there's a separate living room, a large bathroom with separate bath and shower, 2 double rooms and a single room that I use as an office. The back garden is really pretty and I find the whole flat cheerful, bright and airy.
The location: It's 6-mins on the H25 bus to Feltham Station and Feltham town centre, or a 20-min walk. It's a fast train from there into London Waterloo (25-mins). The 290 takes you to Twickenham in 10-mins (I cycle everywhere). It's about 20-mins by car to Heathrow Airport, Bedfont Lakes or Richmond.
Rent: The rent includes all bills except for gas & electricity.
About me: I’m a friendly, generous person with a busy life. I work full-time and am studying for a counselling qualification part-time in the evenings.
I'm close to my family and friends and like to spend time with them. I enjoy travelling, walking, running and cycling. I love world cuisines, but can't accommodate regular cooking of strongly scented, heavily spiced meals in the home. If this is central to your routine, this likely isn’t the right fit. I also have a tabby kitten, so it’s important that you’re comfortable living with a young cat.
About you: I've rented to numerous lodgers over the years and have found that co-habiting works best when both parties are living full and productive lives with some interests that go beyond the house and work! Ideally you will be working or studying full-time and similarly active with your own interests and friendships. Working from home is fine a few days a week, but not full-time.
I hope this is enough info, but let me know if not.
All the best,
Ari
