Double in Ilford in peaceful maisonette

This room is available to single occupants only (i. e. no couples/sharers). It is a small double room in a very quiet, friendly 3 bedroom maisonette in Ilford. The room is furnished, with a large wardrobe, double bed and a chest of drawers.

The flat is very close to both Barking Park (5 min walk) and Loxford Park (1 min walk), with both having good sports and leisure amenities. For shopping purposes, Ilford Lane (5 mins walk) is very close by with excellent butchers, grocers and general shops within minimal walking distance. Should you need a supermarket for anything, Barking shopping centre (Asda) and Ilford (Sainsburys et al) are both 5-10 mins bus ride away, depending on traffic.

Barking Station (10 mins walk) has overground, underground (district and H&M lines) and main line trains (C2C) in and out of London, should you need to commute. Ilford Station (10 min bus ride) provides for access to the Elizabeth Line.

There is a bathroom/toilet on the top floor and a toilet downstairs. The kitchen/diner is large with enough space for multiple users. I've got just about every gadget and utensil going, so they'll be no need for you to bring your own wares, although you’re welcome to. Each tenant has their own fridge/freezer in the kitchen (so you won't have to share). There is a washer and a drier on the balcony, where you may also smoke if necessary. There is a large front room containing a workspace, sofa and TV.

Parking is available permit free. All spaces are within 50 yards of the front door and you'll never have to spend time waiting for a space to become available.

I am a live-in landlord; however, I work away most days Monday-Friday and at least one weekend day, so I’m barely home. I'm friendly and relaxed and take the view that the house is as much my lodgers as it is my own. I try to keep to myself but I'm also a bit chatty and you're welcome to tell me to bugger off at any point. There is also another lodger here, a 27 year old female, who is very quiet, respectful and kind.
