Large Double Room with ensuite - heart of Kingston

We have a lovely large double room with an en suite right in the heart of Kingston and only a 4-minute walk from the train station. The room comes with a double bed, armchair, chest, drawers and large wardrobe - plus a nook above the wardrobe for suitcases etc.

The room gets sun all day as south facing. All the windows have wooden slatted blinds which can block out all the light if required. There are plenty of electrical plugs as well as an ethernet socket for faster internet connection.

The en suite bathroom has a toilet and shower plus a heated towel rail. The shower has an overhead shower plus a separate handheld shower head.

We have an open plan kitchen / living area with plenty of workspace for cooking and a large dinning table. There's plenty of food storage plus a large fridge and separate freezer and pantry. We also a Juliet balcony which overlooks Kingston.

I work in the film industry and my partner is a historian. I work from home half the time and my partner is here about half the time also. My son is 13 and goes to school in Richmond. He spends every other week here. We have a ragdoll cat called Leah - she's adorable as you might imagine.

We're looking for someone who is a working professional who appreciates their own space but might be partial to the odd movie night or pub trip - there are 5 great pubs just a 5-minute walk from us. We love to share recipe tips and tend to be up at 6 and in bed by 10. We have lovely neighbours who have lived next to us for 10 years. The apartment building is cleaned once a week and the stairs to our top floor flat do their best to keep us in shape.

I'm happy for a partner to stay over now and then once we've met them.

Rent includes all bills other than council tax which will be a third of the tax band E paid monthly.
