Beautiful room in renovated house in KT2

My name is Karen & I will be the live in landlord. I’m also just moving into the house, as I had it extended & fully renovated.

About your room. It’s a double room. Currently unfurnished, but it can be furnished. While no en-suite, you would have your own dedicated bathroom with a toilet, sink & bath with shower over it. It also has an anti steam cabinet & calming lights.

In terms of the rest of the house which you have access to, there is a study, an open plan kitchen, lounge, diner which opens out into the back garden, & a snug (TV room).

The kitchen is brand new with two full size ovens, an American fridge freezer, wine cooler, Qettle tap, dishwasher & 5 ring gas hob. All Bosch appliances. There is an island in the kitchen too.

We also have a small utility room with a washing machine & tumble dryer.

There is a small driveway, which can be used by arrangement.

The garden is also shared.

You would be living with me & my black Labrador, Winnie. I’m a professional, so work in town most days. I usually wfh 1-2 days per week max. A dog walker will come in days I’m not at home to take care of Winnie’s needs.

Winnie & I like our home to be fun, but calm, clean & tidy. Not obsessively so, but so that we can enjoy & most importantly relax in our house. If you came to live with us, we hope you would feel the same way.

Given the amount of space in the house, you can be by yourself or socialise with us. The choice is there because the space is there.

There will be Sky TV & a weekly cleaner too of communal areas.

In terms of transport. We’re a 5-10 min walk from Norbiton Station (mainline to Waterloo). A number of busses pass at the bottom of the road, going to both Richmond & Kingston. If you walk around the corner you can also get busses to Wimbledon, Tooting, Putney etc.
