Furnished, double bedroom in a lovely 3-bed house

The room is great for WFH, fully-furnished, well-lit, and comfortably sized in a 3-bed house with a living room, shared bathroom, and an additional toilet, located in a lovely neighborhood just an 8-minute walk from New Malden station.

Located in Zone 4, it takes 25 minutes to reach Waterloo Station and 15 minutes to get to Kingston via South Western Railway (same cost as tube!).

We prefer a young professional like ourselves, with a regular monthly income and working towards a professional career. While we’re open to considering students, please note that a guarantor or advanced rent payment would be required by the landlord —there would be additional checks for student candidates before agreeing to the move-in.

-> Bills (broadband, energy, water, council tax) - on average £120 per person

-> Security deposit on signing the 1-year contract is approx. £920 per person

-> Council Tax Band E (you’d be responsible for paying this along with us)
- > move in date flexible (late September/early October)

A bit about us:

We’re two young professionals who have been living together for over two years. Our third flatmate is moving out at the end of September, so we’re looking for someone to take her room as part of a single contract with us. We’re clean, friendly, and have established a great system for maintaining our home, especially when it comes to cleaning and shared responsibilities. We mostly work from home, with occasional trips to the office about once a week.

We met during our Master’s course and have lived together ever since. We are vegetarian/vegan and enjoy a variety of hobbies, including cooking, reading, and working out. We all respect each other’s space and privacy and believe in maintaining a clean and organized home. Open communication and a friendly flatmate relationship are important to us.

If you enjoy movie nights, spontaneous cooking sessions, exploring local hotspots, and sharing a good laugh, you’ll fit right in! Our house share is a place where you can feel comfortable and accepted just as you are.
