The spacious double room is the second bedroom in my ground floor flat, located just a 6 minute walk from New Malden overground station.
Available for up to 4 nights a week, during the working week. Price is based on 3 nights a week.
Being in a semi detached, period house conversion, the room benefits from lovely high ceilings and a large window allows plenty of natural light into it.
The room has been recently redecorated and is furnished with:
- an almost new double bed and mattress
- an enormous wardrobe against one wall offering versatile storage
- a chest of drawers
- blackout curtains
- a pretty side table and chair
I live on my own in the flat and the open living room and kitchen areas offer ample space for a flatmate. As with the bedroom, most of the furniture and appliances are new.
My flat also has a garden with decking leading onto an area of grass which provides the perfect area to relax in during the summer.
Location:
The flat is located on a lovely, quiet, residential street offering parking with no restrictions. As well as the close proximity of the flat to the overground station, New Malden is also incredibly well serviced by buses going to, for example, Kingston, Wimbledon and Putney as well as one directly to Heathrow.
Trains regularly depart for Waterloo, via Clapham Junction, a journey which takes 24 minutes.
The pretty high street is barely a 2 minute walk from my flat and offers a wide range of shops, restaurants and supermarketsnsuch as Waitrose, Tesco Express, Lidl and Boots.
For those who have a car, the A3 is a 5 minute drive away offering easy access to central London in one direction and the M25 and beyond in the other.
If you're also looking for more green space, both the lovely, open spaces of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park are just a 10-15 minute drive away.
Electricity, Gas, water, Sky and Virgin internet are all included in the price.
