Description
We have 3 rooms available for lodging by a single guest.
These consist of a bedroom, bathroom and lounge. All are newly refurbished and are offered as furnished accommodation having:
Bedroom - a new double bed, bedside cabinets, drawer storage space, wardrobe hanging space, a sofa and 32” smart TV. Newly carpeted.
Bathroom - Toilet, basin with under-sink storage and shower with monsoon head and flexible hand spray, a lit mirror and electric toothbrush charger. The whole room has been completely rebuilt at the beginning of last year and is fully tiled with a warm floor, towel and room radiators.
Lounge: Newly re-carpeted with a large sofa, hifi unit, a small antique desk work station (if required) and circular dining table and chairs.
The lounge has French windows which lead on to a raised patio above our beautiful garden. This is available to guests who want to dine al fresco or want to barbecue outside.
All 3 rooms are adjacent to each other on the ground floor and are across the hall from the large kitchen which we are offering as a shared facility. This has a five ring gas hob, a double oven, a microwave and additional oven facilities, a fridge, dishwasher and sink with single drainer. A washing machine is available in the utility room together with a tumble drier, freezer and another fridge.
The whole house is centrally heated and had a new boiler fitted last year. In addition we have a water softener for all internal water points.
The house is also served by BT fibre optic wi-fi which will be available FOC to guests.
There is on-street parking and we are offer secure bike storage in the garden.
We are within 25 minutes by train to London, 4 minutes away from the M25 and we are not in the ULEZ zone. Kent starts at the end of the garden and there are many country walks and bridle paths starting from here. Our 3 rooms suite would suit a staff member of PRUH or Biggin Hill London Airport, those working in the M25 corridor or home or hybrid workers.
All bills are taken care of as part of the fees on the basis of reasonable usage.
We are looking for a single professional who will appreciate and enjoy living in a family home and respect their surroundings.
We will be asking all applicants for work references as well as a month’s rent as deposit in advance. We will also require copies of the successful applicants’ passport and driving licenses.
