A spacious double room is available in a clean, comfortable and well-kept home in Surbiton, KT5.

The room is currently offered unfurnished at £925 per month with all bills included.

If preferred, the room can also be furnished for an additional cost. We can provide a double bed and mattress, desk/table, chair and other practical furniture depending on what you need.

For professionals who only need accommodation during the working week, a Monday-to-Friday arrangement can also be offered. In this case, the room can be provided furnished and the monthly rent can be calculated accordingly to reflect the shorter stay and suit the arrangement.

So whether you need a full-time unfurnished room, a furnished room, or somewhere comfortable to stay during the working week, there is flexibility to find an arrangement that works.

The room is located downstairs, giving it a little more separation from the upstairs sleeping areas and making it feel more private and convenient.

The house has been recently freshly painted and is kept clean, tidy and well maintained. During the colder months we keep the house comfortably warm, and the bathroom is also kept warm and well ventilated.

The shared areas are professionally cleaned once a week, so there is no need for complicated cleaning rotas and the house stays consistently pleasant to live in.

For day-to-day convenience, there is also a smart tumble dryer, so drying clothes is easy even when the British weather is doing its usual thing.

Coffee is covered too — we have an espresso capsule machine with a milk frother, available to use for those mornings when instant coffee simply won’t do. ☕

One of the biggest advantages of the house is the very large garden. You are welcome to enjoy it, with garden furniture for good-weather days as well as a BBQ that you can use.

We even have a gardener — although, to be completely honest, that gardener is me. 😄

The house has a main bathroom with a toilet, plus an additional separate toilet downstairs, which is especially convenient with the room being on the ground floor.

I am looking for a professional male lodger for single occupancy. Age is not important — I am mainly looking for someone who is clean, respectful, responsible and easy to live with.

This is a high-quality room in a comfortable, relaxed and well-maintained home with plenty of useful extras included. I expect it to attract strong interest, so I am looking for someone who feels like a genuinely good fit for the house.

A proper written lodger agreement will be provided, clearly setting out the rent, notice period, house rules and responsibilities.
